Carnivale is a collection of surreal circus performers, circa 1920. These are a contemporary take on posters designed during that era. The series gave birth to a book narrating their legendary adventures. Drawing inspiration from Rembrandt, claroscuro is used to accentuate the dramatic tone to each artwork.
