We assign value to the visuals we receive. Some art speaks to us, but the message may be personal. Someone may see hope while another may see hardship. This is when art is serving as a mirror to what’s inside of ourselves. This perception is affected by our experiences and memories. Regardless of it subjectivity, in art there are some true absolutes, such as composition, harmony, elegance, balance, patterns, style and technique. My goal as an artist is to create timeless beautiful art that inspires; art that brings to light our memories, feelings and reality.
