We assign value to the visual messages that we receive, and art is subjective. While someone may see hope another one may see hardship. This perception is affected by our experiences and memories. However, there are many true absolutes such as good, evil, virtue, sin, harmony, elegance, composition, and technique. My goal as an artist is to create timeless art that inspires; art that brings to light our memories, feelings and aspirations, art that captures beauty.
